What to expect
For an endoscopic procedure, a long flexible tube that contains a small camera is inserted down the throat into the esophagus of an animal. This allows the veterinarian to visualize the upper gastrointestinal tract and of an animal and aids in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders such as gastrointestinal ulcers and foreign bodies. The animal will need to be sedated for this procedure. Our endoscope is a world-class Karl Storz instrument made in Germany.
