What to expect
We provide wildlife veterinary consultations and diagnostics, wildlife management services, as well as wildlife facility assessments. Wild animals often have extremely high-stress levels and therefore wildlife has to be treated differently from domestic pets.
Our specialist wildlife veterinarians provide a whole range of wildlife services, including:
• Veterinary consultations and diagnostics for wildlife (blood work, diagnostic imaging including x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, CT, and MRI).• Wildlife treatment on-site – treatment of individual cases and groups of animals.• On-site wildlife management services (intensive & extensive systems) – evaluation, planning, and implementation of preventative health measures.• Wildlife facility assessments – a professional evaluation of current systems and facilities, including reporting.• Facilitation of wildlife disease study and investigation

Frequently
ASKED QUESTIONS
The following FAQs can help you learn more about our wildlife veterinary consultations. If you have any additional queries, please contact us.
There are many different species of wildlife with completely different diets – from meat to fruit or seeds – but this is an ESSENTIAL part of keeping your pet healthy. Please research this to ensure optimal nutrition for your pet’s health (most species have reliable information available on the Internet). Book a consultation with us if you would like to discuss this further.
For the safety of our patients and staff, many species of wildlife cannot be safely handled for a thorough examination without sedation or immobilization. This is decided on a case-by-case basis.
Depending on the species, we do recommend some vaccinations, however, this varies greatly with different species. Please contact us if you are unsure.
